For the final day of nu:notes festival, we’re joining forces with De Läbbel for an evening dedicated to hip-hop.
The festival takes a look at the music that has grown alongside jazz, crossed paths with it and taken inspiration from it. Hip-hop and jazz have been closely connected from the beginning; through rhythm, sampling, improvisation, production and a shared history of pushing musical boundaries. This evening explores that connection by bringing together artists from the US, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
